Our program pilot- how it works

We collect, repair and clean gently used mobility equipment to redistribute at little to no cost for families.
We accept donated equipment from families, school districts & partnering organizations.

All equipment requests must be submitted by a healthcare professional (HCP) working with the child.

  1. HCP create accounts with our secure portal and will receive notice when equipment is available for request.
  2. The HCP then submits an application for equipment and for a specific child.
  3. exchangeABLE Team will review applications and match the equipment based on available information.
  4. Once matched, the HCP will be notified and have 7 business days to confirm the family accepts the match.
  5. Once accepted, the HCP and family have 7 business days to coordinate equipment pick up.

If a HCP and family are unable to confirm and coordinate within these time frames, the equipment will be offered to the next most appropriate match.

Important note: We are located in Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia, PA.
We can NOT ship equipment.
